Finally leaving

We left Ibusuki, went back to Kagoshima for a day and then took a ferry to Yakoshima, the island that helped inspire the geography in Princess Mononoke. Before that we did some touristy things in Ibusuki!

We went to a hot sand bath, where the geothermal heat makes the sand H O T
Not before lunch getting soba
We went to Kagoshima the next day and the next morning we took the ferry to Yakushima
